Home \u203a Fees
One flat fee.
Charged only when you win.
No call-out charge. No listing fee. No surprises. When your item sells you receive the sale price minus one flat 38% fee, which already covers eBay’s own selling and payment charges. Not a cent before.
One flat fee per item, charged only on a successful sale. It covers our commission and every eBay cost.
If you don't make money, we don't make money.
Sell For Me operates on the confidence that we can sell your items. That is why our fee is a simple commission on the sale: we are only paid when you are. It keeps our goals and yours perfectly aligned, to get the best possible price, every time.
The 38% is all-inclusive. It covers our commission and every eBay listing, selling and payment fee, so there is no second deduction to work out. Unlike many sellers, we never charge for a call-out or for listing your goods, and fees are calculated per item so you always know exactly where you stand.
What is in, and what is not.
Covered by the 38%
- eBay listing and selling fees, in full
- eBay payment processing fees, in full
- Our commission for managing the sale
- A visit to your home to view and appraise items
- Professional photography of your goods
- Writing and managing your eBay listings
- Packing and dispatch of postable items
- Re-listing and re-negotiating if it does not sell
Only if you ask for it
- Removal and storage of large items where collection is not possible
- Optional courier or removalist services we can arrange on your behalf
We always aim to keep any extra costs to a minimum to maximise your profit, and we will quote you up front. Simply ask.
See where the money goes.
Say a vintage sideboard sells at auction for $800. Here is how a typical payout looks.
Illustrative only. Because the 38% covers all eBay and payment charges, what you receive is not affected by category or final sale price. We confirm your net figure in writing before anything is listed.
Fee questions, answered.
Only when your item sells. We deduct our flat 38% fee from the sale proceeds and transfer you the balance. That single fee covers our commission and every eBay listing, selling and payment charge, so there is no second deduction. For cash sales, we issue an invoice for the fee after the sale is complete.
None. The appraisal visit, photography and listing are all free. You never pay a call-out fee, a listing fee, or anything to eBay directly. We only earn when your goods sell.
We will happily re-negotiate the reserve price and relist at no extra charge. In the unlikely event it still cannot sell on eBay, we will contact local organisations and charities to find it a home.
The 38% is calculated per item, so each sale is handled independently and transparently. You will receive a clear email summary of every sale and the fee applied.
Nothing to lose, money to gain.
Book a free appraisal and we will tell you honestly what your items are worth. No obligation, no upfront cost.
